Sending your first successful email campaign in BCloudMail comes down to six steps: register, upload your subscribers, create a template, build a campaign, send it, and check how it performed. This guide walks through each one, with a recorded walkthrough for every step that has one.
1. Register for an account
Before anything else, you need a BCloudMail account. Head to app.bcloudmail.com/register and sign up with your email address and a password — no card required to start on the Free Package (1,000 emails/month). For a full walkthrough of the two ways to register (starting with a paid package, or starting free), see our account creation guide.
2. Upload your subscribers
Once you’re logged in, go to Subscribers in the sidebar. You can add contacts one at a time, or use Bulk Import to upload a list in one go. The video below shows the full import process.
3. Create an email template
Next, go to Templates to build the email you’ll actually send. The video below shows the general template creation process, and BCloudMail actually gives you four different ways to build a template depending on how much design control you want:
Uploading your own assets
If you already have images, logos, or other media you want to use in your emails, upload them first under Templates → Assets. Once uploaded, they’re available to insert into any template you build, whether through the code builder, the AI builder, or the frontend editor.
Using the code builder
Under Templates → Template Builder, you get a code editor where you can write or paste raw HTML for your email. This is the most flexible option if you (or a designer) already have HTML email markup, or if you want full control over the layout down to the last tag.
Using an AI prompt
Under Templates → AI Builder, you can describe the email you want — the type of email, a headline, your main message, and a call-to-action — and BCloudMail generates a complete HTML template for you. Once you’re happy with the result, copy the generated code and paste it into the Template Builder to save it as one of your own templates, ready to use in a campaign.
Using the frontend editor
If you’d rather not touch any code, open a template in the visual (frontend) editor instead. It lets you build and rearrange your email’s sections — headlines, images, buttons, text blocks — directly on the page, similar to a drag-and-drop page builder, without needing to write any HTML yourself.
4. Create a campaign
With subscribers imported and a template ready, go to Campaigns and create a new campaign. This is where you choose your subject line, pick the template you built, and select which subscribers should receive it.
5. Send a campaign
Once your campaign is set up, you can send it immediately or schedule it for later. The video below covers the full create-to-send flow.
6. Monitor your campaign reports
After a campaign goes out, head to its report to see how it performed — opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes are all tracked automatically, so you can see what’s working and refine your next send.
